My thoughts (Tokyo Ghoul Series)

Tokyo Ghoul has ended. Even the manga series ended. So why am I making this post?
The thing is that, I was updating my anime list (pun intended) and I stumbled upon Tokyo Ghoul and I realised, I've finished watching the whole series! Like, in a whole day. So I decided to make a post on my thoughts about Tokyo Ghoul.
Honestly, I'm not really a die hard fan to the point where I know everything about an anime series. the only thing that I know about Tokyo Ghoul is Tsukiyama is voiced by Mamoru Miyano and that's it. But to me, that doesn't matter. What matters is that, I've finished it, and I'm gonna tell my readers, what is my thoughts on it.
Disclaimer! This review may not be accurate because it's been a while since I've finished Tokyo Ghoul, so I kinda forgot the anime a bit.
Let's begin reviewing the first season. The first season is basically about a boy named Kaneki Ken, who went on a date with Rize, and it turns out that Rize is a Ghoul, who's basically a creature who eat human for a living. So, Rize wants to eat Kaneki, and falling pipes saved him. When Kaneki came to, the doctor told him that they implanted Rize's organs into Kaneki's.
You see, Tokyo Ghoul hold a special place in my heart because it is the first psychological horror anime that I've watched. (Aside from Death Note, of course). And the first season is really good, you gotta give it a try. The development of Kaneki from being a sissy baby to a badass protagonist shines in this anime. There's also a nice mental drama between human and a ghoul. And for Jason, I don't understand his motives for making Kaneki suffers, but I guess it makes sense for the plot. Let's just say I don't really understand the drama between the ghouls. But as the plot progress, you begin to understand. By the plot I mean next season.

Season 2! Moving on! Kaneki finally accepted his Ghoul side and began siding with the Ghouls. The war between humans and Ghouls happened in this season. Tons of humans are taking their revenge from the Ghouls.
I genuinely think that season 2 is the worst season of the Tokyo Ghoul. It just went downhill from here. Maybe because it is not parallel with the manga. So it doesn't makes sense. Especially that ending. Regardless, still enjoy the series. Opening is kinda trash to me. Not a banger. So kinda disappointed. Gotta dock some marks right there. Did I mentioned that the opening for season 1 is a banger?
Tokyo Ghoul:Re. This is when the story gets interesting. We finally get to see more content from Tokyo Ghoul as time progresses. Just so you know, I'm combining Season 3 and 4. So, what happened was, Touka owned a coffee shop, Kaneki became a CCG member as Haise Sasaki because he lost his memory. In this season, you'll see Kaneki regaining his memory and accepting who he was and trying to live a normal life with Touka.
Bonus point for an interesting plot. The only complaint that everyone have is that, it's too rushed. And because the last season's ending was not parallel with the manga, they have to fix the plot hole in this season.
Conclusion! Great story. Definitely not a great anime though. The manga is one of the best. Regardless, I still enjoyed it. Let me know what's your thoughts on it, even though I won't receive any. But whatever. Thanks for reading till the end. This is just my thoughts, not a review so I won't rate it. I rate this anime on MyAnimeList though. So yeah, see ya!
