So recently, I just finished one arc(?) of the game, Criminal Case: Pacific Bay.
For context, Criminal Case is a series of games, like franchise. There's the original Criminal Case, that covers a city called Grimsborough, there's the Pacific Bay, which I'm gonna talk about today. There's the mystery of the past, covers Concordia, there is the Save Europe, Time Travel, Supernatural Mystery, Paris and Conspiracy, which is the sequel of the original franchise, of the Grimsborough.
Moving on!
This feels so weird cuz I'm talking about a free mobile game. But I just like the franchise so much and I wanna talk about it on the internet.
So, for this part it covers the story of the Ocean Shore of the Pacific Bay. And I don't wanna spoil too much, but I can't control myself so I'm not sure whether I'll spoil it or not, so here's a Spoiler warning!
The first chapter is called Shark Attack and we are introduced to the beach, in Ocean Shore. In this chapter, we will meet multiple suspects, but the unexpected highlight here was the lifeguard. The second chapter titled Death on the Wheels covers Pacific Bay drug issues also street racing. In this chapter, we will meet the main antagonist of the arc, and also the main protagonist, (?) Not really protagonist but pay attention to one particular character in this chapter and after that you will know what I meant. The third covers the boat, called What Dies Beneath. In here we will discover the ocean of Pacific Bay. And fourth we'll cover roller skating. And we will meet the Ocean Entertainer. Last chapter, I'll drop a hint, it takes place in the beach. There you go. ><
At first it looks like typical mobile game with a series of cases and that's it. But the more I played it the more I realise that the developer put their thoughts into the story although the story is not the main point about the game. Yeah, we solve crimes, but each chapter sort of intertwined with each other, and it blows my mind. Becoz when I was solving the puzzles I couldn't foresee the conclusion of the arc.
Each character has it own story, despite the fact that I couldn't really talk to them that much. And I'm really glad that a mobile game can deliver a story with a conclusion that I can't expect. Becoz some story games made it seems so obvious how the ending is gonna be. On top of that it has conclusions, unlike some long story franchises I've played. So kudos to the developer. Disclaimer: I'm not being sponsored. This is a personal blog of mine, and I just wanna write things I enjoyed here. So there you go. Hope to write more, inshalah. ^_^¦¦¦
